Róisín Saunier is the Managing Partner of Managing Worldwide Teams and the founder of our sister company Executive Coaching Worldwide. She has more than 15 years’ experience working as a consultant, trainer and coach for the multicultural and virtual teams of large multinational organizations with a strong focus on the luxury, life sciences and financial services sectors.
Following her experience as an expatriate in Bahrain in the 1980s, Róisín relocated to France where she pursued a career in business communication training.
In 1995, she began working as an external consultant for the language technology firm Globalink Inc. helping them to tailor their product and service offering to European markets. She subsequently held the roles of Director of Linguistic Services & Training and Director of Professional Services & Customer Relations for the European Division.
In 1998, Róisín joined the Enterprise Consulting Group of Lernout & Hauspie, providing advisory services to government ministries and multinational organizations on the effective use of language technologies to facilitate cross-cultural communication and information gathering. During that time, she led a number of multicultural distributed project teams and coordinated a technology joint venture between several R&D teams in Europe and the USA.
Róisín regularly lectures on international mobility and cross-cultural management at leading European business schools and universities. She holds an MA in linguistics and language technologies from the University of Nanterre and a diploma in cultural studies from the Sorbonne University. Her training on Coaching Global Executives and Creating Positive Change in Multicultural Teams was at the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication in Portland, Oregon.
An Irish national living in France, Róisín previously lived and worked in Bahrain and the UK and travels extensively for both business and pleasure purposes. Bilingual in English and French, she also speaks Spanish.
