Our family of 5 relocated from France to Minnesota in January 2014. During this process, meeting with a Managing Worldwide Team’s consultant was very useful. There are plenty of cultural differences between the 2 countries and getting information beforehand is critical to better manage the situations and potential issues when they occur abroad, far from your routine. Working with a new population, learning their habits, how they mostly see the workplace and its interactions has been very useful for us to avoid some mistakes that are commonly made. There is only one chance to make a first good impression.
